Equis is seeking a strong manager with some research chops to lead the day-to-day operations of a small team of analysts as a Lab Manager. Within the broader Research Department, the analysis team supports the design, analysis, and interpretation of a wide variety of research projects–including polling, focus groups, message testing, and field experiments—that aim to deepen our understanding of how to reach and engage Latinos in the political process. The Lab Manager, reporting to the Chief Analyst, will be responsible for the project and people management within the analysis team: everything from hiring, budgets, and calendars, to assisting with data collection and other analysis tasks as needed. In short, the job is to manage the capacity of the team and drive its daily work. Equis is a national remote office environment with team members located across all continental U.S. time zones. Candidates should be prepared to either work from home or at a location of their choosing that is located within the continental United States.
This position requires the ability to work core hours Monday through Friday in your local time. This position will require occasional evenings and some in-person attendance for all-staff or department-level events, approximately 2 per year, which require overnight travel.
This is a fully remote (USA only), full-time position, with a competitive salary range of $90,000-$115,000 p/year. This salary range represents a good-faith estimate of what Equis may pay for this position at the time of posting. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as budget availability and commensurate with the selected candidates’ experience.
